I hope I'm wrong, but I have, after a long period of denial, finally conceded that Hillary Clinton will be the Democratic Presidential nominee. I am not happy about this, though some people I like and admire seem to be pleased.
Look forward to reading what you have to offer, speaking as a BSG lurker.
I have no rooting interest for anyone in either party, they are all despicable. Ron Paul is an uber-religious anarchist nutjob, Clinton would do nothing for the economy even though I like socialized healthcare, Giuliani is Bush Ultra, yada yada yada.
Someone get Russ Feingold to run for President.
What are your thoughts on the Clinton hostage crisis? Plant or no plant?
C'mon, Paul. The Giants won (and the Eagles died by self-inflicted gut shots...); today of all days you can be a little optimistic.
The latest Des Moines Register poll has Obama moving ahead with women, which I don't think necessarily will last, and union households, which might. I think it's about 50-50 that he wins Iowa; if he does, I think the whole race becomes a jump ball. At the least, she might be forced to take a definitive position on something, somehow... and wouldn't that be fun?
Can someone really be wrong about everything? If we adapt the liar's paradox, substituting wrong for lies, we get something like, "Paul says Paul is wrong about everything." But perhaps this is mere hyperbole.
My blog is not really about being wrong, it's about bold predictions that have little or no basis. Predictions about sports and politics, along with pretentious commentary on 21st century life. Also, accounts about life in small town Arkansas.
If any of that makes sense, you're in the right place.

Happy b'day. You're my wife's age.
I wrote that post before all that good football stuff happened.
